Envirothon

Envirothon is a scholastic competition that tests students’ knowledge on five topics:

• Soils,
• Aquatics,
• Forestry,
• Wildlife,
• and Current Events.

Envirothon enhances environmental awareness of students with a hands-on approach.   

Advisors

Miss Jessica Jones and Mrs. Elizabeth Winters

Meetings

Held weekly, from February to May, during 5th and / or 6th periods.

Agenda / Activities

• Meetings prepare for the May competition. 
• Also, early April, there's a training day in Letchworth State Park.

Who can join

Any student interested in the outdoors and nature.

Competitions 

The Envirothon competition, against teams from area high schools, takes place early May in Letchworth State Park.

Expectations

Members must be willing to dedicate the above stated preparation time.
