I would like to welcome all of our returning students and a "special welcome" to all students who are new to our building this year.  I am sure that you will find Prospect Elementary School a great place to learn and grow.  We are looking forward to a great school year and the opportunities that lie ahead for our students.  This year, we have adopted a new math program entitled, Everyday Math.  Your child may be bringing home activities to share with you that relate to this program.  We will try our best to keep you up to date with our math lessons, but if you ever have a question, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher.

The exterior of the building received a facelift this summer with the installation of our new windows.  Although the goal was to increase our energy efficiency, we have had many positive comments about how nice they look! 

Again, I would like to welcome all of you to the 2009-2010 school year and I look forward to seeing you in September!
