Message from Mr. Rogers Message from Mr. Rogers

Good morning - Today is Saturday, August 21st

I want to congratulate you on two extremely good performances in Toronto last Thursday night.  The Bills were thrilled , the Canadians were impressed with your behavior and professionalism and I was just thrilled.  We worked very hard to be ready for that performance and all of your HARD work certainly paid off.

Our next performances in Saturday, August 28th at Ralph Wilson Stadium.  The bus leaves at 2:00pm.  We will have three new drum majors and not any of last year's seniors with us.  It's now up to YOU to become the "Pride of Attica."  I am CERAIN you are up to the tasks at hand.

I want to thank last year's seniors who marched at Pike: Carrie, Nikki, Katie, Lauren, Aryne, Courtney, Katie, Kirsten, Eliza, Jacob, Rachel, Jen, Travis, Kyle, Mike and Justin - we wish you every sucess in college and will look forward to seeing you at homecoming.

Check the schedule posted and listen to my message on Blackboard.com

Every step we take and every note we play will be with the goal of outstanding performances this fall.  We will be making six appearances at Ralph Wilson Stadium this fall, traveling to Toronto for the Santa Claus Parade, performing at  home 5 times,  and finally we will be leaving on the 27th of December for our 3rd appearance in the Citrus Parade in Orlando.  While we are in Florida we will also be performing at Universal Studios.  Last March I traveled to Florida to check out the hotel and other trip locations.  I met with the City of Ocala and arranged for them to included us in their "Holiday Concert in the Parks" Programs.  If you live in Florida or know anyone who does you might consider being in Ocala on the evening of December 30th. The reason we are going to Ocala to perform is very special.  GEN SMITH now lives in Ocala.  I visited with Gen for several hours while I was in Florida.  She will turn 90 on the 18th of December and I have made arrangements for her to be at the concert on the 30th of December. We will march in the Citrus Parade earlier in the day, travel to Ocala and then perform a concert at 6:00pm.
