    8. After using the bathroom, flush the toilet, pick up your trash, and wash your hands.
    9. We will clean up after ourselves and be responsible for our trash everywhere.
    10. If someone drops something, pick it up and hand it back to them.
    11. Hold the door for others.
    12. Return all items to the exact area you retrieved them from.
    13. During work time, stay on your assigned task in your assigned space.
    14. Respond to other adults with eye contact and appropriate greeting.
    15. Do not show disrespect with gestures or noises – rolling of eyes, moaning.
    16. Homework will be completed each day assigned by every student.
    17. Always say, “Thank you” when I give you something within three seconds or I will take it back.  There is no excuse for not showing your appreciation.
    18. Think before you speak and choose your words wisely.
    19. When it appropriate to applaud, we will ALLclap fully with appreciation.
    20. Never brag or if you lose, never make excuses (I wasn’t playing that hard) because it shows weakness and disrespect.
    21. When given a gift, never make a negative comment or insinuate it wasn’t appreciated.
    22. When in line, walk single file in your number place with hands to your sides.  Leave the space of two footsteps between students and absolutely no talking.
    23. Never cut in line (budge).
    24. Do not take more than your fair share.  You don’t want to be greedy or wasteful.
    25. When we enter a building or assembly as a class, there will be nothing but the most impressive behavior.  Maintaining order shows respect and it is appreciated.
    26. On the bus we will sit facing forward with hands and feet to ourselves.  When exiting it is expected that you thank the bus driver.
    27. Make sure your eyes are focused where they need to be at all times.  When someone is speaking, look at them while they are talking.  When we are reading follow along with the text.  When we are looking at information, keep your eyes focused on the materials.

    29. NOmoaning or complaining regarding work, directions or other situations.
    30. The choice is yours.  Make sure you choose wisely, so that you feel good about the choices you make.  Always think: What would Mrs. Stenson want me to do?

    32. Stand up for what you believe in.  Don’t let others tell you what to think, say, or do.
    33. Be the best person you can be!
