ATTICA ELEMENTARY
Welcome to
Elementary Physical Education
"It's Fabulous"!
Where focus is on increasing:
-
skill enhancement
-
cardiovascular capacity
-
muscular endurance
-
flexibility
-
Most importantly FUN!
Children walk out of the gym saying
"I Want More!"
Today’s physical education is much different, and I look forward to showing you how
Attica Elementary Physical Education is a class, like social studies or math. Student behavior is expected to be the same in PE as it is in other classrooms:
PE is not free play or recess
PE is not athletic competition
At Prospect Elementary, Physical Education IS a program promoting Physical Literacy.
A program of progressive instruction in motor, manipulative, psycho-social, and cognitive skills to enable students to participate successfully in and enjoy physical activities for a lifetime.
