Attica Central School District
Message from the Superintendent
Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year!
Hello Everyone! First, we extend our thanks to our community for their continued support. Our ultimate goal is to provide a well-rounded educational program for our students. As part of this program we include educational experiences and opportunities found through the participation and competition in interscholastic sports and extra-curricular activities. It is through the classroom that our students build a solid foundation. However, it is just as important that our students have the opportunity to explore the arts, music and sports so that they gain the benefit of a well-rounded program. Additionally, we are continuing to expand the agricultural offerings within our educational program. It is our goal to continue to provide a wide range of programs and activities that will enable our students to be college and career ready once they graduate from our school. We fully realize we must work together or we will not be able to offer a program where our students have so many opportunities for success.
We make every effort to schedule events well in advance to give parents and students as much time as possible to coordinate schedules. The 2018-19 District Calendar includes not only important dates, but also general information on many topics along with addresses and phone numbers. As always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We encourage you to use the 2018-19 District Calendar to supplement the student/parent handbooks which will be given to each of our students when school opens in September. Also, please check the weekly school page in the Attica PennySaver and our website (www.atticacsd.org) for any updates to the calendar.
