Vision 

The Attica Senior High School Library is a student-centered space that promotes creativity, collaboration, and curiosity.  The library offers a place where students can utilize traditional resources to pursue academic excellence.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Attica High School  Library Media Center is to provide a variety of information tools and resources to help meet the needs of the students as they navigate the diverse learning opportunities provided by the school district.  We aim to foster the effective use of information technology and encourage students to become critical thinkers. Through creating an exciting and challenging atmosphere we hope to instill a passion for lifelong learning.

My goals as the Library Media Specialist are:

  1. To teach students to access, evaluate, and use information.

  2. To maintain a well-balanced and diverse collection of resources and technology that meets the needs of students and faculty.

  3. To promote instruction in up-to-date technology and information literacy to students and faculty.

  4. To provide assistance in locating and using instructional materials.

  5. Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement instruction units integrating the resources of the library with the classroom curriculum.
