NYS Law mandates a physical in grades K, 1, 3, 7, & 10. Students are also required to have a physical if they are entering our school district from another district. NYS also highly recommends that your child's doctor perform this physical, since he or she knows your child's health history best. Physicals should be done within 90 days of the start of the school year. All students going out for sports need a physical each year in order to participate. This physical must be done before a student can participate in a sport.
