How to Find a Good Book
There are many ways to find a book that you will enjoy:
Ask for recommendations!
Ask a friend
Ask your teacher
Ask your school librarian or a public librarian
Look at the bestseller list!
The New York Times lists the bestselling books from several categories including the top ten middle school grade: Chapter Books and Series Books.
Try an award winner. They are ALWAYS good!
The Newbery Medal is awarded every year by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. The list of winners is here: Newbery Medal Winners
