2024-2025 Board of Education Goal & Objectives

The Board of Education will actively support the implementation of the district's strategic plan by ensuring alignment of policies, financial resources, and decision-making processes with the district's mission to strengthen community connections and provide innovative learning experiences. The Board will work collaboratively with district leadership to empower, foster, and advance education for all students while maintaining a student-centered approach, promoting a positive and respectful culture, and encouraging creativity and innovation.

This goal can be supported by measurable objectives such as the following:

·Regular updates on the strategic plan’s progress at BOE meetings

·Establishing a subcommittee to oversee specific initiatives selected by each building and department

·Ensuring that new policies reflect the strategic commitments and core values.

·Ensure that through the budget development process budget decisions reflect strategic commitments and core values.
