A special congratulations to Donna Kohlhagen, our latest Attica All-Star. While she retired earlier this month, the district’s leadership team chose to recognize Donna for her “outstanding contribution to our organization in her role as the Committee on Special Education - not only providing support for our faculty and staff, but also our families involved in the special education process.”
Before retiring, Donna had been with the district for more than 20 years, starting out as a substitute before transiting to the Committee on Special Education secretary position a few years later.
“As Donna embarks on the journey of retirement, the special education department would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Donna for being the glue that has held us together over the years,” said Amanda Pappalardo, chairperson of the special education department. “Donna’s dedication and commitment to her job and the unwavering kindness and support she showed to every single one of us will not be forgotten. We hope her retirement is filled with well-deserved joy and relaxation."
