Q: What’s the most important lesson you learned in high school?
A: The most important lesson I learned in high school was to not take anything for granted. Once you leave here, you will never get to go back and relive the years you spent here. Make the most of the time you have and participate in activities to the fullest extent. You want to be able to look back on your years with no regrets.

I wish to be living in a way that makes my younger self proud.

Q: If you could tell your eighth grade self one thing, what would it be?
A: I would tell my 8th grade self to not stress so much about high school. There are so many fun things that outweigh the stressful things and it’s not as bad as they think it’s going to be. Do your best and be yourself! Create an image of yourself that other people and you would be proud of!
Q: What do you want people to know about what it’s like to be you, to be your age, at this moment in time?
A: At my age right now, there are so many things to focus on at one time. Keeping sports and school in line is one thing, but now having to focus on college is a whole other struggle. Right now, I’m taking it one step at a time, and with my family and friends here with me it hasn’t been so bad.

Q: What gives you hope about the future?

Q: Tell me about a time when you took a risk and it paid off.
