UPK Registration for the 2026-2027 school yr is now open

If your child will be age 4 prior to December 1, he or she is eligible for our free half day Pre-K Program. You must be an Attica Central School resident. This program is a grant funded program, which is subjected to approval by the NYS Budget.

·         There are a limited number of spots for the Pre-K program.  18 spots in the A.M. and 18 spots in the P.M. session. The a.m. session runs from 8:15 – 11:00, the p.m. session runs from 12:15-3:00 – Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the school.

·         If more applications are received than spots available, a random lottery will be held as required by NYS requirements.

·         Registration will be accepted until - March 20, 2026.

·         In order to be eligible for the lottery, all required paperwork and supporting documents must be turned in by April 14, 2026.

·         Placement will be determined by a lottery that will be held on April 17, 2026 at 3:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center, located at the Middle/High School complex.

·         Parents will be notified of lottery results by mail within 2 weeks of drawing

·         Children not selected will be put on a waiting list

·         Families of multiples need to have an application for each child. Twins and triplets are automatically enrolled if their sibling is chosen, so long as there are available slots.

Pre-registration is required: www.atticacsd.org, click on quick links (top right-hand corner) go to new Student Registration info. Once this step has been completed, you will receive the necessary documentation by mail, unless you request to pick it up.
