Community Forum informational flyer.

Recently, the Attica Board of Education shared a communication addressing questions and concerns raised during the April 16, 2026 Board meeting and across our community. We’ve included the letter in two photos at the bottom of this article.

This message acknowledges the concerns that have been expressed and outlines the financial challenges facing the District, including rising costs, limited growth in revenue, and the difficult decisions required to present a balanced and fiscally responsible budget.

These discussions are understandably complex and, at times, emotional. They directly impact our students, staff, and programs. Please know that the Board of Education and District leadership remain committed to transparency, thoughtful decision-making, and maintaining a strong, student-centered focus.

To provide additional clarity and create an opportunity for open dialogue, we are inviting all members of the community to attend a Community Budget Forum on Wednesday, April 29, at 6 p.m. in our Performing Arts Center.

This forum is intended to provide a clear explanation of the proposed budget, including the factors driving current decisions, as well as an opportunity for questions, feedback, and discussion. We believe that open communication and community engagement are essential as we navigate this process together.

We encourage all members of our community to stay informed, review the budget materials available on our website at the link below, and participate in upcoming opportunities to learn more.

Thank you for your continued support of Attica Central School District and for your shared commitment to our students.
