sophomore year of high school. I am also a member of the Attica Senior High Marching

Band and I have been in band since fifth grade. I am involved in two sports which are

soccer and basketball and I have played both of these sports since 10th grade.

Q: What is your proudest achievement?

A: My proudest achievement would be being nominated for student of the year by my

justice academy teacher because it really shows to me that he recognized the effort that

I put into my school work and how much I truly care about the program.

Q: What will you miss most about school?

A: The thing I will miss most about school is being able to see my friends every day and

talking to them about whatever I have going on and being able to rely on them for their

constant support.

Q: What’s the most important lesson you learned in high school?

A: The most important lesson I learned in high school is that you have to branch out and

get involved in whatever you can in order to talk to new people because you never know

who you will get along with.

Q: What do you hope your life looks like in 10 years?

A: In 10 years I hope my life is successful and that I have a stable job where I am able to

provide for myself. I hope that I am working in a criminal justice field like in the FBI or in

the state prison system.

Q: Who inspires you to do your best?

A: My mom inspires me to do my best. She is very successful in her career and has worked

her way up through the years so I strive to be as accomplished as she is.

the park and play basketball there.

A: I would tell my 8th grade self that branching out may seem scary but in the end it can be

really beneficial in meeting new people and trying new things.

Q: What do you want people to know about what it’s like to be you, to be your age, at this moment in time?

A: One thing I would like people to know is that it is a little stressful being me at this current

age as I am preparing for graduation and making sure that all my grades are set while

also trying to make sure that I have a very memorable summer before the start of

college.

Q: What would the title of your autobiography be?

A: “The Journey to Find Me,” by Kristen Miller.

Q: Who would play you in a movie about your life?

A: I would say that the person who would play me in a movie about my life would be Anne

Hathaway because I love her movies and her way of acting.

Q: What’s your most-listened to song?

A: My most listened to song would be “You Get What You Give” by New Radicals and I really

like this song because it feels very upbeat and I also like its message of never giving up

and that you get out of life what you put into it.

Q: What scares you about the future?

A: The thing that scares me the most about the future is being uncertain about things like

my future career and trying to see what will be the best fit for me. It’s just very hard to

predict what my life and career may look like many years in the future.

Q: What gives you hope about the future?

A: The thing that gives me hope for the future is that I know that I will always have my

family's support throughout the decisions that I make and that they will always be there

to help me through difficult times.

Q: Tell me about a time when you were stronger than you thought you could be.

A: The time when I was stronger than I thought I could be was when I joined both the

soccer and basketball teams my sophomore year because I was a little scared at first to

start with tryouts but I was able to make it through all the physical challenges and along

the way I was able to meet some amazing people that really helped me to open up and

become more involved.

Q: Tell me about a time when you took a risk and it paid off.

A: When I first started taking advanced courses in 8th grade, I was a little scared at first that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the work but I actually did pretty good in those courses throughout high school and I will now be graduating with my advanced regents diploma.

Q: What trend or fad did you participate in that you will definitely regret in the future (or actively regret right now)?

A: I would say that a fad that I participated in that I now kind of regret would be the Stanley

Cup one because now I have more cups than I know what to do with.

Q: If you had to cook a meal to impress someone, what would you make?

A: I would make a nice steak dinner with all the good seasonings with some buttery mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

A: If I could choose one superpower it would be to teleport because I would like to be able

to travel the world without having to pay for travel expenses and I also like the idea of

being able to travel when I want to.

Q: Imagine it’s 2048 and you have teenage kids of your own. What advice would you give your 40(ish)-year-old self about being a good parent?

A: Listen to your kids and build a strong relationship with them so that they always

know that they can go to you to talk about troubles they are having and if they need help.
