Attica Central School District is partnering with Healthy Kids Programs to provide after school care for students in kindergarten through fifth grade during the coming, 2022-23 school year.

Healthy Kids Programs is based in New Windsor, NY, and has offered summer camp, early learning and before and after school programs for children in the Northeast for more than 15 years. In New York, its programs are licensed by the Office of Children and Family Services.

With more than 100 locations throughout the Northeast, Healthy Kids’ focus is on providing a positive, engaging and stimulating experience that promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive well-being.

Healthy Kids' after school programs offer homework support, socialization opportunities as well as fitness, academic and STEM activities to encourage learning, creativity and physical health.

“The past few years have made very clear how important quality childcare is to families,” said Attica Superintendent Kiel Illg. “We’re pleased to be partnering with Healthy Kids Programs to offer this after school program at Attica Elementary and are excited at the prospect of bringing a flexible and affordable childcare option to our district’s families.”

The expected launch date for Attica’s after school program is Sept. 6. Attica’s program will operate out of the Attica Elementary School, 31 Prospect St.
