Congratulations to junior Joe Parkhurst for an outstanding swim tonight vs. Batavia / Notre Dame. In the 50 free event, Joe met the state standard by swimming a 22.14. This time automatically qualifies Joe for the New York State Swimming Championships at the end of the season.

The FamilyID.com registration sign-ups for modified girls and boys basketball is now open. Please go to the website, and click on the winter modified basketball link to complete the process. You must also have a current physical on file with the school nurse before you are cleared to practice. Practices will start on January 17 and run from 3:30 - 5:15.

Due to Lackawanna’s snow removal issues, Monday’s Class C Far West Regional football game against Attica has been cancelled. The game will now be played on Tuesday 11/22 at Batavia High School’s VanDetta stadium. Game time is scheduled for 6:00. It will cost $10.00 per spectator to enter the game. Please accept our apologies in regards to all of these changes. Go Blue Devils!

NYSPHSAA’s Class “C” Far West Regional football game has changed locations. The Attica vs Lackawanna match up is still scheduled for this Monday (11/21) but has been moved to Brockport High School. Game time is still slated for 6:00. Please make the trip and come cheer on your Blue Devils!

Attica will look to keep its unprecedented varsity football season alive at home on Monday as it plays host to Section VI’s Lackawanna Steelers in the New York State Far West Regionals. Should the Blue Devils win, they will advance to the New York State Class C semifinals and face the winner of Waverly (Section IV) and General Brown (Section III). The game is Monday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. at Attica’s Alumni Field. Spectators are strongly encouraged to purchase digital tickets online ahead of time through GoFan (link below). Digital tickets are $8.35. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $10 (cash only). The game will also be livestreamed through the NFHS Network (link below). There is a fee to access the livestream As Coach Cusmano is wont to say: “We’re not done and there are other rivers to cross.” So pull on some boots, Blue Devils, and go ford that river! Congratulations to Bailey Nixon as she represented Attica Central and Section V Saturday at the Cross Country State Championships in Verona, NY. Bailey ran a strong race and finished in 54th out of 129 runners. Nice Job Bailey! We are very proud of you!

If you are planning on attending the Sectional Football Finals this Saturday at 3:00 at SUNY Brockport for the Attica vs E. Rochester game, please remember there will be an admission charge. Section V strongly encourages that you purchase a digital ticket ($7.30) online. Otherwise, you will be charged $8.00 at the door. To purchase a ticket, please go to atticacsd.org…click menu, then athletics, and then athletic calendar. You will need to choose Attica. Then look at the football game scheduled for this Saturday. You will see two icons, one for tickets and one for a livestream, commentated broadcast (also $8.00). GO BLUE DEVILS!
